The game will serve as a proper sequel to Spider-Man that was initially released back in 2018 for the Playstation 4 (PS4). A story that takes place one year after the events of the first game. Now, Insomniac Games hints at the potential suits any player can equip through a fun GIF teaser. Even the preorder content provides a small glimpse into the dynamic costumes the player may receive upon release of the game.
Miles Morales will possess an arsenal far different than his predecessor Peter Parker. He will have the ability to develop poison blasts of energy and turn invisible. These two distinct powers will give Miles an advantage in the field while also having a spider sense and wall crawl abilities.
In the streets of Harlem, New York Miles will encounter new enemies being the corporation ROXXON and the street militia The Underground led by The Tinkerer. These two factions are at war and it’s up to Miles to dawn the mantle of Spider-Man and save the city.
