Special Event Announcement : Roaring Rainbow Online Concert

With it being Pride Month, people around the world are preparing special events for members of the LGBTQIA+ community. However, with the recent happenings, not every event will have in-person participation. Despite this, members of the community are still able to find ways to celebrate everything that has been endured up to this moment. One of these many colorful events is an online concert known as the Roaring Rainbow.

Taking place on the 12th of June at 12 PM PDT (5:00 PM EDT), Roaring Rainbow is an online concert that will have a number of trans and queer performers. These performers include The Double Clicks, She/Her/Hers, Still Buffering, Annalee Newitz, Charlie Jane Anders, Crys Matthews, Dine Aesthetics, Jeffrey Marsh, Lindz Amer, Sunday Comes Afterwards, Super Knova, and the one and only Rebecca Sugar (creator of the widely popular animated series Steven Universe). Prices of tickets vary depending on the extra goodies participants will receive, plus you will receive a YouTube link to the event, which will be emailed after the purchase is made. Whether you purchase a show ticket or a sponsor ticket, 100% of the sales go to Trans Families and The National Center for Transgender Equality. For those that aren’t familiar with either of these organizations, their goal and mission is to provide trans families and youth with obtaining legal, educational, and emotional resources. Along with tickets, there will be a number of awesome and beautiful concert merchandise (designed by Teylor Smirl) available for purchase, which all proceeds will also go to Trans Families. If for any reason, you are unable to purchase a ticket (financial problems), there is also an option to request a ticket. For anyone interested in joining the festivities and enjoying the show, click the link here for tickets and merchandise purchases, and any additional information. Please feel free to share this around with anyone that you know will want to enjoy the concert, the bigger the “crowd” the brighter the sparkles.
